Objective: To characterize the nature and degree of change of the agricultural landscape due to various policy drivers in operation over a fifty year period. To achieve this objective requires the:

• Development of datasets required to assess current agricultural patterns from edaphic, production system, management, and economic perspectives in the Willamette Basin.

• Evaluation of the soil productivity/suitability of Willmette Valley agricultural soils.

• Application of multiple attribute decision making methodology to the selection of cropping methods.
