Aquaculture Network Information Center (AquaNIC)  provides links to aquaculture publications, newsletters and groups, and individuals involved in aquaculture throughout the world.

Aquaculture Engineering Society - The aim of the Aquacultural Engineering Society (AES) is to provide a means by which its members can come together to discuss engineering problems related to aquaculture. The official journal of the Aquacultural Engineering Society is Elsevier's Aquacultural Engineering.

World Aquaculture Society (WAS) is an international organization which promotes the educational, scientific, and technological development of aquaculture throughout the world. This site provides membership information and a listing of WAS publications.

Aquatic Network (AquaNet)  provides information on a broad range of aquatic topics, including aquaculture, conservation, education, fisheries, marine science and oceanography, maritime heritage, ocean engineering, and seafood.  The Aquatic Network includes databases, news, articles, employment and business opportunities, publications, an online store, and a products/services directory.

Pond Dynamics/Aquaculture Collaborative Research Support Program (PD/A CRSP)  conducts research aimed at improving the efficiency of pond aquaculture systems. The program is administered by Oregon State University. It has developed and maintains the only comprehensive and standardized database for tropical pond aquaculture. Access to PD/A CRSP publications is available.

International Center for Living Aquatic Resources Management (ICLARM) is part of the CGIAR system and has its headquarters in the Philippines. Provides information about their personnel, research activities, publications and software tools.

Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling (Scotland, UK)  Provides an extensive listing and linking of aquaculture resources on the Internet, including electronic mail and discussion lists, news groups, bulletin boards, bibliographic databases and other information repositories.

Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures (Auburn University, Alabama, USA).  Provides information about the aquaculture and fisheries program at Auburn, plus links to internet resources in aquaculture, fisheries and seafood safety.

World Aquaculture Trends.  Maintained by the FAO, this document provides an overview of the trends in global aquaculture. See also related fisheries statistics links below.

ACTED - Aquaculture Center for Training, Education and Demonstration - Offers workshops and courses in aquaculture year-round at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution in Florida, USA.

European Foundation for Improvement of Living and Working Conditions - A nonprofit, autonomous agency of the European Union that provides information on conferences, networks, tools, and training for sustainable development.
